Back-Up

Automatic backups can be provided by scheduling all your resources on Sechard.

Go to Schedule Backup from Backup & Restore section. A new task is added by pressing the + button.

In this example, a backup will be scheduled to cover all our SWs. Let's select the relevant fields.

It is recommended to be taken every day. All your SW config backups will be taken at 00:00 every day.

It is important that the backup of different sources does not come at the same time as the backup of SWs. If you take SWs at 00:00, make sure to put an interval starting at 02:00 for your registry backups on Windows systems.

If you want to schedule a single number of SW backups, not all SWs, search for Switch on the same screen. After selecting the box tick, proceed by pressing the + button.

Sechard takes config backups of resources such as registry, SW, Firewall for Windows systems. Linux does not take a backup of resources.
