22.2.1.1.6. When Resource Is Online/Offline

SECHARD performs continuous Ping control to all devices attached to the system. If it does not receive a response from all 4 Ping pings sent to a device during the Ping control phase, it drops the device to Offline status.

In order for the device to come online, all 4 pings sent must be answered. Popup and E-Mail alarms are generated about the Status change of the devices. Device name and Log Date information are included in the alarm.
